New Trees Being Planted

The non-profit Baltimore Tree Trust in coordination with the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks have been working through neighborhoods including ours, planting a variety of trees to increase the tree canopy. Those areas of Baltimore that have less tree canopy can be 9-16 degrees warmer during the summer months than those neighborhoods with trees around. Here's the approved list of Baltimore City tree types: https://bcrp.baltimorecity.gov/sites/default/files/StreetTreeSpeicesList_BaltimoreCity_2018_03_23_Final.pdf
